Located in the heart of the Antrim Glens, is Glenariff Forest Park, set in the valley between two towering mountains the park has lots to see and explore. From stunning waterfall walks to high mountain views, it’s a must see.

Today we were going to do the waterfall walk which has been newly refurbished. There are 2 ways to tackle this walk, from the main carpark or from driving to Laragh Lodge and parking there. (but be sure to call in for some top notch food on the way back.)

The walk snakes right along the river bank and sometimes over it via suspended walk ways taking you up or down the river and offering stunning views of the waterfalls. We were lucky enough to visit after a spell of rain so the displays were even more spectacular.

Definitely well worth the trip even for the waterfalls alone.
