I’d seen this place sign posted and advertised in numerous places, so decided one day when we were out and about near it, that we’d best go check it out.
The country park is located next to a main road, which is well sin posted so easy to get to. We
went into the visitor centre to find out bearings to see what was on offer, there seemed to be plenty of walks but we decided on the river walk which is located on the other side of the road. We headed off through the trees and walked down a few steps to get to the river and when we did the view was spectacular, with a tree lined river on both side and a rock cliff high above us. You can take the easy way out and use the bridge across the river and return to the car park, but what would be the fun in that.
The whole walk we went on was about 2 miles and never left the river side once. A few minor hills thrown in but nothing major, about 1 mile out we crossed another bridge and made our way back along the river again.

An thoroughly enjoyable walk and it passed a few hours, but think having been once, it’ll be a while before we’ll be back, but check it out.
